8-Day Serengeti Safari

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel around 08:00 AM after breakfast. Drive to Arusha National Park, which offers an excellent introduction to Tanzanian wildlife. Despite its small size, the park hosts giraffes, Cape buffalo, zebras, warthogs, black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, flamingos, elephants, and bushbucks. Enjoy a walking safari escorted by a trained ranger, getting up close with nature's beauty. After the day's adventures, return to your hotel for the night.

Enjoy the scenic two-hour drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, observing human activities and Maasai herders along the way. This small park is perfect for bird watching and hosts elephants, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, warthogs and waterbucks. After your adventure, head to Karatu for overnight.

After breakfast, drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park's central Seronera circuit, rich in wildlife. Spot thousands of animals including wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, elephants, and predators like cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and lions. The Seronera River provides water for this incredible concentration of wildlife.

Enjoy early morning game drives capturing the Serengeti at sunrise, when predators hunt their morning meal. Optionally, experience a hot air balloon ride over untouched parts of the Serengeti (additional cost). Explore the vast savannah with packed lunches, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife. Spend two full days immersed in this wildlife paradise.

After a morning game drive in Serengeti, head towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area via a different route, experiencing the transition from golden savannah grasslands to montane forests. This scenic drive showcases the diversity of these two World Heritage Sites.

Descend 610m to the crater floor, the world's largest caldera (260km² wide), for a full day of game viewing. Spot all Big Five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, buffaloes), plus hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, hyenas, and numerous bird species. Other wildlife includes monkeys, jackals, foxes, hyraxes, warthogs, zebras, and hares. After the day's excitement, drive to Tarangire.

After breakfast, explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds (up to 300), migratory wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and diverse antelope species. The Silale swamp attracts 550 bird species - the most breeding species in one habitat worldwide. Look for tree-climbing pythons, lions, and leopards. Later, drive back to Arusha concluding your safari.
