Upon touchdown at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted with a heartfelt welcome by your friendly guide! From the airport, you’ll be whisked away to your hotel in either Arusha or Kilimanjaro (Moshi), where relaxation awaits. Immerse yourself in the vibrant African ambiance and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. The next day, your thrilling safari journey begins.

After early breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, lions, and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found here than anywhere else on the planet. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we will head to our accommodation.

After breakfast, we will visit Lake Manyara National Park for more safari fun. This small park is named after its shallow salt lake, which covers most of the area and is home to many flamingos and over 500 types of birds. In the park, we might see animals like monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and maybe even lions resting in trees. The park has different landscapes, including grassy plains, forests, and cliffs with baobab trees.

After breakfast, you will travel to the highlands where people grow wheat and corn. On the way, you will pass through the rainforests in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You might see baboons, leopards, or elephants hiding in the plants. You will also see the amazing Ngorongoro Crater before heading to Serengeti National Park, which you will reach by midday. Serengeti is the biggest park in Tanzania, with different landscapes like grassy areas, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains.

This day is all about exploring the Serengeti. The park is home to many animals like impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. It is famous for the big herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests that migrate every year. We might also see predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions as they hunt and live in the wild. After an exciting day, we will head back to your accommodation to relax.

After breakfast, you will head out from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed millions of years ago, is 600 meters deep and covers roughly 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best game viewing in Tanzania. You will see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

You will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Your first night will be in Stone Town, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the old city. You can also choose to do extra activities like exploring Stone Town with a guide, visiting Prison Island, going on a spice tour, or touring Jozani Forest.

Nungwi is a lively village in the northern part of Zanzibar, surrounded by some of the island’s best beaches. It was once a quiet fishing village, but now it’s a busy and popular spot. Nungwi is one of the few places where you can see both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. You can relax and enjoy the white sandy beaches and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean for 6 nights.

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel, taking in the last moments of your stay in Zanzibar. Depending on your departure time, you may have a chance for a short walk along the beach. When it’s time to leave, you will be transferred from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport in a comfortable vehicle.
